Our Little Surprise…

As you guys all know, Futari Wa Pretty Anon has been scanlating Shugo Chara! as of chapter 29. They’ve done a nice job thinking of you fans and giving you all what you craved for… the smexy and infamous chapter 28! Most of you couldn’t be happier with the  somewhat high quality chapters and most importantly the nice, speedy chapters that they’ve released. And I bet you’ve forgotten all about us by now…. haha!

Yup. Chapter 29 was released today, but that doesn’t mean AP and us SP just sat around and waited nicely! Nope, we’re not like that! To tell the truth, our online selves have become lazy while our real life personas have become wild and hectic. I’m in high school, guys… and semester exams tend to take up all your time. No offense, but I’d rather spend my time studying, keeping my forever straight A streak instead of editing manga. Heck, I’d rather do neither and just sleep! xD And preparing for six AP courses next year? Ugh, it’s a living hell.

Well, we’re done with that now, but by that time, Futari wa Pretty Anon scanlated pretty far, and they already started on multiple chapters that we had already been preparing. So, we just let them while we instead prepared for the future. Now that Futari wa Pretty Anon has released chapter 29, they decided on a hiatus for their own reasons. Which leaves us the perfect situation to fill in the gaps so that you lovely fans out there won’t be too disappointed!

THAT is why, we will show you our apologies for taking forever (yes, we admit that we are slow online and you thought we had dropped it) and we will be releasing the rest of the chapters in existence in a nice, orderly-fashioned sequence. Happy? We’ve basically finished EVERYTHING, just to prove to you how nice and sorry we are.

We are to release chapter 30 soon. VERY soon. Take heed at how I put “very” in caps. Don’t say I didn’t warn you…!

After that, we are to praise my culture and ethnicity of Chinese (as well as most of the rest of AP and SP staff, as the figureheads from each group is Chinese) and give you guys a nice double release on Chinese New Year. And guess what? Haha, Chinese New Year this year is my birthday. Yup, the same exact date… but I won’t tell you when it is! Go do a little research and find out yourself. It’ll enlighten you with a little history of Chinese culture…

Needless to say, all of Volume 8 of Shugo Chara will be released. ALL. Lyrika has posted those scans up, but unfortunately, magazine scans for what we don’t have from volume 8  aren’t available to us because we need permission to use them, as they aren’t from Lyrika. So, if anyone has extremely high quality scans of chapters 35 and 36, please scan/send us the pictures. If you didn’t know, magazine scans produce worse quality scans than volume scans do, which is why we’ll need the original scans to be in very high pixel scan sizes to make the end result scans better quality. Karin and I are buying the next Nakayoshi issue, which includes chapter 37.

So, guys, you happy? We’ll be putting up our release very shortly, so take a nap, eat some food, watch a movie, and then our release shall be out and ready for download.
